Air Canadaはこのほど、2016年夏期スケジュールで同グループのレジャー航空会社Air Canada rougeの運航による新規5路線を開設すると発表した。

　Air Canadaとして初のアフリカ線となるMontreal〜Casablanca（モロッコ）線（政府認可が前提）のほか、Toronto〜Prague（チェコ）／〜Budapest（ハンガリー）／〜Glasgow（スコットランド）／〜Warsaw（ポーランド）の欧州4路線を運航するもの。

　機材は全路線ともB767-300ERで、スケジュールは下記の通り（カッコ内は便名、運航期間）。

■Montreal〜Casablanca線（AC1936／1937便、6月3日〜10月17日）
　Montreal発（月水金日）21:40→Casablanca着（翌日）10:00
　Casablanca発（火木土月）11:55→Montreal着（同日）14:45

■Toronto〜Prague線（AC1922／1923便、5月29日〜9月29日）
　Toronto発（水金日）16:55→Prague着（翌日）07:20

■Toronto〜Budapest線（AC1910／1911便、6月10日〜10月15日）
